Shelby-Allison Hibbs is a director, teaching artist, dramaturg, writer, and stage manager, she’s having a great time with the DWZ serving as assistant director for Bull Game and performing as the Piano Lady in kaRaoKe MoTeL and musican in DP92. She has worked with The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, Ouachita University (Guest Artist), Junior Players, KD Studio, "I am a Teacher", Echo Theatre, Edge in Motion, Target Margin Theatre, The Berkshire Theatre Group, Slant Theatre Project, CollaborationTown, Adrienne Westwood, and Robert Wilson. While in New York, she interned with The Wooster Group and Jim Findlay’s Botanica. She has presented papers at national theatre conferences in New York, Minneapolis, Cleveland and Chicago and has recently published an article in Texas Theatre Journal. She is a graduate of Baylor University’s MFA Directing Program and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Performance at the University of Texas at Dallas.
