Rebecca McDonald recently appeared as the Sea Spirit in DP92 and the Sphinx in kaRaoKe MoTeL. What a lovely challenge! Rebecca holds a BA in Art and Performance from the University of Texas at Dallas, and a MA in Drama from Texas Woman’s University. She has had the privilege to perform, direct, and choreograph internationally and around DFW. Recent choreography credits include Spring Awakening (Musical Theatre Denton), Hairspray (Wylie High School), and The Ladder of Booker T. Washington Redux (Ft. Worth MoMa) and Something’s Afoot (Rover Dramawerks). Recent acting credits include, “Emelia Hodge” in Honky (WaterTower Theatre), “Mama” in T.N.B, and “Winter” in Bull Game (Dead White Zombies), and “Nairobi” in Raft of the Medusa (Level Ground Arts). Rebecca also has directed locally with credits including Black at the Assassination (TeCo Theatre), Boy Gets Girl (Rover Dramawerks), and various years of PupFest (Kitchen Dog Theatre).
