Danielle Georgiou is the Founder and Artistic Director of DGDG (the Danielle Georgiou Dance Group). Working with videographers, sound designers, and other visual artists, the dancers of DGDG work toward creating collaborative pieces that are interactive and play with abstractions of traditional narratives. She is also the co-founder of the performance art duo, Slik Stockings, with Hillary Holsonback. Danielle is the Program Coordinator for Dance at Eastfield College, directs the UT Arlington Dance Ensemble, and is a Ph.D. student in Humanities at the University of Texas at Dallas. She appeared in (w)hole and did choreography for Flesh World and DP92.
